The Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus (HRDA), as part of its commitment to ensure quality in the implementation of the training programmes it approves, takes all necessary measures to this end. These measures include monitoring the implementation of training programmes through on-site visits or/and online checks.
The purpose of the "Framework for the Policy and Procedures on Handling the Results of Spot Checks on Training Programmes' Implementation" (hereinafter referred to as "the Framework") is to set out the policies, procedures and actions to be taken by the HRDA in cases where spot checks identify non-compliance with the terms and conditions governing the implementation of training programmes, as outlined in the Policy and Procedures Guide of each Scheme and any Supplements which might be in effect.
In view of the approval and implementation of training programmes using e-learning methods as from 26 March 2020 and the need to introduce modifications to certain cases of substantial and non-substantial discrepancies, it was deemed necessary to revise the Framework.
The revised Framework has been approved by the Board of Directors of the HRDA with effect from 6 July 2020.
